Itinerary:

Day 1

Upon arrival at DAR/ZNZ/JRO, you will take a domestic flight to Seronera, where you'll be greeted by an English-speaking guide.

The excitement begins as soon as you leave the terminal, with a thrilling safari game drive through Serengeti - Tanzania's crown jewel, renowned for hosting the Big Five and the Great Migration.

Regardless of the time of year, the park promises an unforgettable experience.

You'll stop for a hot camp lunch, followed by an afternoon safari drive, before returning to camp for a satisfying dinner.

Day 2

Kickstart your day with an unforgettable sunrise game drive that promises to be an absolute treat for all your senses. Get an early start to your safari adventure, with a 6:00 AM departure time, allowing you to catch the animals at their most active. After a fulfilling safari experience, we will return to the hotel around 9:00 AM, where you can enjoy a scrumptious breakfast, and take a well-deserved rest.

If you're still craving for more adventure, you can head out again to explore the savannah in all its glory. Brace yourself for an up-close encounter with the magnificent lions, antelopes, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and many other captivating inhabitants of the savanna, that you've only seen on the television channels like National Geographic and Discovery.

Day 3

Start your day off in style with a sunrise bush breakfast, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the savannah.

Your adventure will then continue to the central part of the Serengeti, known as Seronera, where you'll be accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who will take you to an exciting new location.

The Serengeti Valley is home to an incredible array of animals, including ostriches, jackals, hyenas, monkeys, behemoths, cheetahs, mongooses, dik-dik antelopes, and impalas, just to name a few. Keep a keen eye out and immerse yourself in the stunning natural surroundings of this incredible ecosystem.

Day 4

Be ready to wake up early! Your hot air balloon ride begins at dawn.

A car will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the pick-up point for your exciting air-adventure. The drive will take about an hour and there is a good chance you will see some unique and rare nocturnal animals along the way. They are most active just in the pre-dawn hours.

The weather is usually cool in the morning in the savannah, so be sure to wear a warm sweater or light jacket.

Upon arrival, you will see the hot air balloon be inflated and prepare for the flight. It is interesting to watch the process; how the hot air flow must be acutely adjusted to and the weight properly dispersed.

Once all preparations are complete, you and your group will “board” your vehicle - you will climb into the passenger basket of the balloon. At this time, the balloon will not be fully inflated with hot air and the basket will be horizontal. The large balloon will be lying on the side in the grass while everyone takes their place. Once you are all ready, the balloon team will straighten up the basket and the balloon will fill up and begin to rise.

Your flight will depend a great deal on the direction and strength of the wind, carrying you across the savannah for an unforgettable aerial safari. For the one and a half hour flight, you will see the beautiful scenery of the savannah and wild animals from a bird's eye view.

The balloon pilot will catch the necessary air currents and slowly direct the balloon to the landing point, about 10-12 kilometers from the launch site. After a smooth landing, you will enjoy a late picnic breakfast, complete with champagne. You will be given a special certificate to remember this safari balloon adventure by.

Once you're done, your safari guide will pick you up, and you can choose either to continue your game-drive or head back to Cherero camp for some rest.

Day 5

The decision of when to embark on your safari adventure is entirely up to you. You have the freedom to either start your day with an early morning safari or take a more leisurely approach, enjoying a delicious breakfast before heading out on a safari drive along the road leading to the Seronera runway.

After your safari experience, you'll have the opportunity to catch a domestic flight to the picturesque Zanzibar Island, where you can indulge in some well-deserved relaxation by the coast.

Program based on accommodation in Cherero Camp, which is located directly in the Great Migration corridor.
