Itinerary:
Day 1
Upon arrival at DAR/ZNZ/JRO, you will take a domestic flight to Seronera, where you'll be greeted by an English-speaking guide.
The excitement begins as soon as you leave the terminal, with a thrilling safari game drive through Serengeti - Tanzania's crown jewel, renowned for hosting the Big Five and the Great Migration.
Regardless of the time of year, the park promises an unforgettable experience.
You'll stop for a hot camp lunch, followed by an afternoon safari drive, before returning to camp for a satisfying dinner.
Day 2
Your second day in Kogatende Area. The Mara River flows through the Kogatende area, making a border between Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara. It is across the Mara River that hundreds of thousands of wildebeests, zebras and other grazing animals make the transition during the annual Great Migration.
Typically, this migration occurs in June - late October every year. It is a phenomenon that attracts National Geographic, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel and other renown wildlife programs to conduct documentaries and is one of the reasons the Serengeti is a World Heritage Site.
Your guide will share details about the migration in a special way, and if you're lucky, you'll get to enjoy the river crossing.
Day 3
Start your day with an unforgettable sunrise game drive. Today we start safari as early as 06:00 in the morning to capture all the fun. Animals are more active early in the morning. We will return to the hotel at about 09:00 in the morning, have breakfast, rest and you can again go in search of adventure. Kogatende is located in the northeastern part of Serengeti National Park. Although there are a lot of animals and stunning panoramic views.
Many species of African antelopes live in Kogatende: powerful canna, small dik-diks, bearded wildebeests, kudu with their large horns and slender impalas. Your guide will share in-depth information about each of these species.
Here you will also see large herds of giraffes, zebras and buffaloes, which are attracted by the nearby Mara River for water, allowing you to get up-close photos of these animals.
Day 4
Today, you'll embark on an unforgettable adventure: airplane flight over the picturesque landscapes of Tanzania.
If you'd like to have a short morning game-drive, we recommend that you have breakfast as early as possible — the guide will try to find exciting animal sightings on the way to the airstrip.
After your safari experience, you'll have the opportunity to catch a domestic flight to the Zanzibar Island, where you can indulge in some well-deserved relaxation by the coast.
